About The Event

Hacktoberfest, the month-long festival of supporting and contributing to open-source, is back again this year! We are excited to share with you guys that CBIT will be hosting a 24-hour online hackathon as part of it, called CBIT Hacktoberfest Hackathon. Hacktoberfest is a virtual festival to celebrate open source contributions presented by DigitalOcean, appwrite and docker. It is the easiest way to get into open source!

Each team may consist of upto 5 students.

Not at all! Individual participants and teams comprising of two members will be merged with other teams.

Absolutely. This is the best place to get started with open source. Our Mentors will be there to guide you throughout the event.

Before registering for CBIT Hacktoberfest Hackathon 2022, make sure you have a GitHub and Discord account. Then, register using the link given above.

The virtual event will be hosted on Discord and GitHub. Once your registration is complete we will send you a guide to our Discord server. We will also host a session on setting up Discord and navigating the channels prior to the event.
